DESIGN STYLE FROM A…
HOME IMPROVEMENT STORE???
EARNED MEDIA & SHOWCASE REEL
ART DIRECTION AND VIDEO PRODUCTION
Not exactly known for high-style and technology, DIY/home improvement giant, Lowe’s, set out to change that assumption through it’s House of Curators earned media campaign and its participation in the Tech Vendors Summit.
HYPE VIDEOS
HOUSE OF CURATORS combines the design sensibilities of Fashion Icon Iris Apfel, DJ & Wellness Influencer Hannah Bronfman, and everyone’s favorite This Is Us Dad/Star Milo Ventimaiglia as they curate their own custom design styles exclusively for Lowe’s Home Improvement. The earned-campaign generated buzz among the media and public, as well as $1.6M in attributed revenue.
I created this highlight reel to showcase the campaign and its performance for various award submissions. The client at Lowe’s (Sr. Manager of Brand Communications) even sent a personal note, “I absolutely love this! Great work!“
To demonstrate how Lowe’s uses the newest technology in its stores, warehouses, and corporate headquarters, I created this 7+ minute showcase reel for use at the Vendor Summit. There’s even a brief cameo appearance of yours truly at the 15 second mark.
DON'T JUDGE AN eBOOK...
The challenge with eBooks in general is that we judge them by their cover. They offer little to no perceived value from a visual perspective to the user to help drive conversions. I was tasked to change that by redesigning existing book covers, as well as new books in their entirety.
The results were a 12% increase in eBook opt-ins with an overall increase of 17% funnel conversions.
